If your dentist hasn't said anything and you are worried about it, then you should bring it up. Ask your dentist what his opinion is about it. There is no such thing as a stupid question except for the question not asked. If you are self conscious about your teeth and you truly feel like you need braces then you can also just contact an Orthodontist in your area.
Good luck

You should ask your dentist what is going on and if you need braces just deal with it. If anyone tells you braces don't hurt there so wrong! I got my braces on in January and between now and then there has been alot of pain. But don't worry there is always pain medicine.

Speak up. Ask your denyest, or dentist, or whatever, for his opinion. Maybe he figures you already know you need braces and doesn;t want to make you feel uncomfortable.

Are your friends dentists? Then why would you listen to their opinion? Your dentist would be the first to tell you! Do you know how much braces cost?

You may want to confront your Dentist yourself. some dentist will not bring it up if you don't but if you feel like he is not giving you the right kind of attention, try another Dentist

Ask your dentist. He will refer you if he feels you need an orthodontist.

Your dentist probably won't bring it up. You have to tell them that you want to do something about it, and then they will refer you to an orthodontist.

Bring it up to your dentist. Ask. he may feel that it is your jaw or bone structure. A Maxofacial oral surgeon may be who he refers you.
