I was recently diagnosed with Hypertension (High Blood Pressure). Would a girl dump me, hate me, or talk badly behind my back if I was dating her and I finally admitted to it?

No way! It's not like you have some kind of STD. High Blood Pressure is pretty common now a days with stress and the things we eat.

You've got to be kidding me. Dude, you're talking about high blood pressure not AIDS....Gonerea.....Scurvy......Ringworm or something along those lines. I'm not getting down on you, but lets be honest, you're talking about a problem that almost half the population is dealing with, I have it, it wouldn't surprise me if someone in the special girl's family has it as well. No but you do want to take care of your health first and formost. If a girl dumps you for having HBP she's the one losing out on a nice person. If you need some resources on how to manage your HBP naturally look at the website at the bottom of the screen.

no way! lol about 65 million Americans aged 20 and older have high blood pressure....im sure lots of them are married and totally in love. Its just something they will have to deal with just like you do, but its not like you are terminally ill or something embarrassing or even something that will really affect her so much. :) you are loveable, dont worry!

I don't think so at all, hon! Please don't feel ashamed of this diagnosis....we all have things that make us "different," and hypertension is just one of your "different" traits!
There are many, many supportive women out there who will love you no matter what your blood pressure level is. Any girl who's worth your time will give your diagnosis the respect it deserves. :)
