I've seen people staring at accidents so long they crashed into the car in front of them.

I was a first aid responder at a couple fatal crashes, and it's partly the shock, partly the base sinful attraction to death. people are fascinated at watching others die, and as horrible as it sounds, they very well should be. It gets them wondering "where did that person go? what happens next?" I would like to hope you've seen more people trying to pry the kid out of the back then staring at the remains of his father and dying mother, though.

It's the bloody worst.

California freeways rubberneck up so bad sometimes.

They rubberneck, watch tv in their Escalade and talk on the cell phone ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

I for one, will be happy when the no cell phone talking
while driving ban goes into effect in 2008.
