is it the same way as the older versions of itunes i tried doing it the same way but it doesnt work? nothing happens when i click the "burn disc" icon

You might want to try re-downloading I tunes. Sounds like you didn't get the whole program.

If you've got a PC, you may need to wait for the next update, which apparently will be out soon. There seem to be some issues with the PC version that Apple is working to correct.
Of course, if you've got a PC, there is also the possibility that a virus is causing problems that are affecting iTunes.

it should work exactly the same way
have you selected a playlist etc to be burnt and have the right cds and stuff? (i know they seem like obvious things... but they're the easiest to make mistakes with lol)
if it keeps giving you trouble, maybe try uninstalling it/installing it again?

Use Windows Media Player. It's 1,000 times easier and more intuitive.
