No it's not healthy and I guess the faster way to lose weight would be to not eat at all. However that's even less healthy.

There are all kinds of quick ways to lose weight.
The problem is keeping the weight off once you lose it. This isn't going to happen with a quick fix. If you really want to lose weight you need to make some serious changes in how you live your life. And realize that this will take some time to do it right.

Drink a lot of water, eat sensibly, and get your body in motion. These are the key ingredients to a healthy weightloss program.

you will not lose weight that way. My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Just do more sports. Be on your feet more... like, I walk and jog for about 6 hours everyday... 2 hours of which I have my school bag on my shoulders. It gets me really hungry, and I am starving so much that I want to eat 4 meals per day. But I eat two and that's how I drop a pound whenever I feel like it. But then, I think my sizes are normal: I'm 5'7" and I weight around 144. Eat nutritious healthy food and make yourself workout more to get musscles. Best is to do it with a buddy who's as confident as you are to lose weight, cause doing it mono is not fun; which is really the reason why I never work out by myself and go to a Tae Kwon Do class 3 nights a week for 2 hours of throught-drying workout. Hope my system will help you! Good luck.

well It goes by how your body reacts to burning the fat. I have a couple friends who eat a small snack every 2 hours and they have lost weight.

No, I know eating once is not healthy even though trust me Ive done it myself. Ive tried almost everything I'm just going to be a phat girl ;) what can I say lol

I would try to eat at least 3 meals or snack healthy through out the day, remember small portions is the best way. Also eat healthier cut back on pop and caffeine like coffee, I remember I didn't drink pop (just pop) for 2 weeks and lost 7 pounds. You don't think some of your habits will affect your body like that but it does :)
Also try some light exercise, don't kill yourself :) maybe try a walk at night or in the morning just around your block or say 15 minutes on a treadmill, that bit of sweat will surely help you out in your effort to loose some weight!

I wish you the best of luck!

No it isn't. Your body needs more nutrients than this. The better way to lose weight fast is to eat healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner and exercise. When you add the exercise into your daily plan, you'll lose weight alot faster because it speeds up your metabolism and you burn calories fast even while at rest. By eating only one meal a day, you're actually slowing it down.

No, eating only once a day starves your body of the calories it needs as well as the nutrients. You can't possibly get all the nutrients and calories you need in one serving.
It is best for you to eat several small meals. The experts say to eat 6-7 times a day in very small portions and to drink lots of water. You should also try doing some excerising 3-4 times a week to help tone your body as you are losing your weight.

Good luck

No that's not healthy. Small portions 3-6 times a day is healthy. Eat healthy snacks and drink lots of water. Losing weight healthy instead of fast is way better.

Absolutely not.

There is a faster way: don't eat anything for a week. But it's even worse for your body.

There are no safe ways to loose weight quickly. If you are truly interested, eat a well balanced diet while watching your caloric intake. Also, excercise will help.

You're better off joining a program like Weight Watchers.

No, it's not healthy and not effective. You may lose weight at first, but your body soon adjusts to the starvation mode by a decrease in your metabolic rate. You burn fewer calories, so your body can survive on the fuel of fewer calories. It's is more effective to maintain a regular healthy diet (with a slightly lower calorie content) and exercise daily. Exercise not only increases your metabolism, but also burns calories in the process. Cut back on breads, potatoes, rice, and pastas. Substitute water for other drinks.
