I applied for the I-130 so my husband can come to USA. We have been approve. They have sent our forms to the Department of State National Visa Center. Now I am waiting for my paper for my beneficiary which is my husband. I want to know what the paper will be about. I know I have to mail the forms to the USA embassy where my husband is. Once the forms get to the embassy where he is. How long will it take for his visa to be approved and he is able to come to the USA?

am in the same boat, i have a 1-130 approval and in the letter it says information has been forwarded to the Dept of State-consular services.
They do say in the letter to contact them within ninety days if your beneficiary has not heard anything. they had a 1-800 number i think. check their website
