Cannot one give selflessly, without expectations, without strings attached, without asking for anything in return, and yet still have a need to receive love, freely given?

Can we not give love freely to people, yet also have a need to receive freely offered love from whomever wishes to offer it?

If you give freely of yourself and your time on a regular basis you will find more people willing to help you in your times of need. Every soul on earth needs to feel loved. Sometimes it comes in the form of a thank you, sometimes in a smile from a small child. Maybe you are not recognizing the love people are sending out to you for what it is.

Ever hear of the 23rd Psalm? Now. You know what that means? apparently not.

The Lord is my Sheppard....I shall not "want".

YOU will not "want" for anything you need. God WILL take care of your "needs". You will never "want", for YOUR own "self" needs.

If your seemingly philosophical question means you want to cheat on your wife or g/f, the answer is NO.
