i'm building a 340 stroker and want to equip it with a holley six pack set up. which cylinder heads are compatible with the six pack intake manifold?

if you can find a set of 71 model 340 heads from a challenger or t/a they,ll work fine on it,any good 340 head will do with the six pack set up,and work well,,i have a 71 challenger 6 pack with regular 340 heads,,,and it runs fine,good luck, i hope this help,s.

If you're getting the rare T/A intake, you ought to run it with the matching heads. The new six pack intakes work with regular pre-Magnum production heads; if you don't have a set of cylinder heads you like, I would say go with either the late '80s 360 heads or new alloy castings depending on your budget.

Well, it could actually be just about any of them. The six packs come with different widths, so you can buy one to fit just about any head.
Just buy the heads you want the most, and get a six pack that has the correct width. Im sure you can.
When I replaced the carb on my jeep, I was given the choice of about 5 different sizes of 20 different models of carbs.
Just find out what the head takes (like 2 1/8" for instance) and get a carb that matches.
I guarantee you that holly has the size you need.

By the time you go thru the bother of finding an old set of 340 heads or 360 heads to use, and you dump the cash into getting them redone right, you can buy a nice set of aftermarket heads - like Edelbrock - Check your Summit catalog

440 six pack not 340 six pack Dude! But if you have to. Check Mopar people dragracers and ask questions. You will need a gray hair oldster like me to help you get enough flow to pull fuel into that engine. Don't you know no auto manufactures use Carburators any more WHY? Besides the 110 octaine leaded gas needed to light up the 340 and high compression needed to bang the piston down. You will fight an up hill battle because there is no way you will beat displacement!

The cylinder heads have nothing to do with what carburetor setup you're using. It's all in the intake manifold.

APPARENTLY JOHN PAUL IS NOT A MOPAR GUY.ACTUALLY ANY 340 HEAD SHOULD WORK WITH YOU 6 PACK. NICE MOTOR, LOTS OF HP AND TORQUE. I BELIVE THERE IS A AFTERMARKET ALUMINUM HEAD ADVAILBLE FOR THAT APPLICATION.

the best heads (factory) to use are "J" heads.
