My boyfriend and I are going on a cruise in December. Neither one of us have ever been on one. What is your opinion on the best place to visit?

Key west and Cozumel were really nice...so was Ixtapa...They all have something unique to offer tourists so you kinda have to figure out what you want out of the vacation. Some tips for cruising first times: 1)get an id card holder that you can put your passport and drivers license that goes around your neck...they check your ID like 20 times between the airport and the cruise liner. 2) After you are packed...go in and take half of what you put in out. All you really need are some comfy walking shoes, a few cute swim suits, some sandals and a couple nice outfits for dinner... I totally overpacked my first time (it's alot easier to get dressed and find stuff if you have less).

If you are going in December, that rules out the Med and Alaska. Weather is bad and most cruise ships have moved to their winter destinations...Caribbean, West coast to Mexico and Hawaii.

If price is a factor then the closest port of departure will be cheaper. If you live in the east coast, a flight to Miami will be a lot cheaper than a flight to Hawaii or Porto Rico.

Hawaii would be tops, eastern or western Caribbean next and/or the Panama Canal.

I enjoyed just being on the ship, luxury, service, gourmet food, activities, breakfast in bed, hanging over the rail watching flying fish, sitting on the balcony at night, watching the amazing way that they dock the ship and much more.

Cozumel is cool,
Cartagena
St.Thomas
St.Marten

Where will you be cruising from and to... The 7 day Mexican cruise is nice on the west coast.. and the cruises from the est to the island are nice to.... in case you don't already have yours, be sure you get your passports. The laws have changed and you will be required to have a passport if traveling to another country by air or sea..
