Not in all pics, but like one my mom took of me, my face looks fat but when i look in the mirror, i dont look fat. Does anyone else see this about themselves? Does the camera REALLY add weight to you?

some people are not are just not photo genic AT ALL!!! trust me, i have to take like 100 pictures to just get one that is decent. Not about my weight just i look like a morphed alien in some, its crazy. Also you see a perception about yourself that is TOTALLY dif from what other people see you as. I belive everyone has a sense of body dismorphia. But mainly its just photogenic-ness.

That's not true the camera only adds 5 pounds and if your far away you will look more like yourself unlike the closeup pictures add 5 pounds.I took photography classes.

The camera adds ten pounds can you believe it? I couldn't at first but in pictures you always seem to look so much bigger than you really are! Don't worry about if you are comfortable about yourself outside of the pictures then you should have no worries

I think it may be the wide angle lense distorting your true size. I'm not sure that can happen but when people use big lenses I seem to grow too.

it may also be the angle that you're taking the picture at. sometimes that makes you look bigger than you really are.
