I believe that blind faith leads only to ignorance, so I neither believe nor do I disblelieve. There is no proof either way. I respect your faith, please respect mine.

Actually, the big question isn't about whether god exist or not, but more of how one should worship him. Besides, you can't simply praise and have faith in god because each religion says that you must both follow that religion and believe in god in order to go to heaven. Then, there is the question of what heaven really exist. Because of all these confusions and conceptions, people that don't decide their faith until there is proof just to be sure. I mean, you can't really blame people for believing this, it is just how it is.

Islamic fundamentalists -- some of whom blow themselves and kids up on buses -- ask the SAME exact questions, convinced that they're 100% correct in their belief that god will reward them for their actions. They thank Allah for sending Mohammed and for giving them the opportunity to serve him by killing the infidels. I know it's difficult to open up and see the parallels but it's important.

Because we need proof. just beliving is what got 6 million jews killed, because people didn't believe the Nazis would ever do something like that. Belief that it was unsinkable is what sank the titanic. Belief is what kills millions of people with aids. they believe they wouldn't get sick. So, sorry, belief is no longer enough. we need proof. and no, the bible is not proof. its a book with no factual base whatsoever.

Some people have to be able to see and touch things to believe. But, the fact that they are asking so many questions, has to mean down deep inside they believe some, and i think it scares them that we may be right.
