(if they make $20,000 a year a regular citizen making that money gets a nearly complete return ... they do not petition for a return since they do not file for taxes yet their companies still pay their taxes for them SO THE IRS KEEPS ALL THERE TAXES WITH NO RETURN... Companies are more scared of the IRS than Immigration)
Illegals are probably what is saving Social Security and Medicare from ruin since they pay in and do not get a return ...
So I am left asking why do people consider that they don't pay taxes ...
and since they pay tax they have as much right to use the facilities, hospitals, and schools as any other taxpayer...
The only conclusion that is left is that this "IDEA" was created by racist to infuriate an uneducated populous.

They work at all the little places you go MacDonalds, Chili's, Bennigans ... Only a small fraction are day laborers ... and the 100s I have known over the years not one did not pay taxes ....

I rent, and I don't pay ANY of those taxes. And I am an American Citizen (all my life!).
The only ones that do pay income taxes are the ones that have foney SS numbers. And are you honestly going to sit there and tell me that every single illegal immigration has a foney ss number? Don't be so naive.
The figures are in, and the government spends more in support and assistance of illegal immigrants than they collect in "taxes" from them (look through the posts listed in YA by other people on their questions. I am not going to look for them). If they were financially beneficial to this country, then people would not be fighting so hard to get them out. Don't try to tell us that they all pay taxes. THEY DON'T.
And besides, even IF they DO pay taxes, they are criminals because they broke the law to get into this country by not going through the proper channels. What part of ILLEGAL do you not get? Are you going to forgive all of the criminals in our prisons because they were poor when they committed their crimes? Or that they couldn't help but buy those drugs because they were addicted, and then killing that little baby was just an accident. Let the person go free. They will pay taxes if you let them out. . .
Breaking the law is breaking the law. A criminal is a criminal. Criminal actions are punishable by deportation to anyone not here as a citizen. What are you saying???

There is also the possible conclusion that you're stupid,many of those same people who are supposedly paying taxes are also using false ID to collect forms of public assistance thus at best negating any effect they may make by paying taxes,it's a fact whether you want to admit it or not,the govt knows it ask them. After all they catch them at it everyday,give them a little slap on the wrist and send them on their way.If you want to enable felons taking advantage of your country feel free,they enjoy the fact that you're dumb enough to let them. And quite frankly a great deal of the illegal workforce is off the books and no taxes are paid,so jobs that could have gone to some unemployed American goes to someone not even legally here,off the books,no taxes paid. It's a simple fact,the amount of taxes lost every year to these off the books jobs is enormous and only helps to further bankrupt our country. Everything about their presence is a menace,but you go ahead and continue to live in your little fantasy world. If you rent and appartment or a house you do not pay local, state, special district, school, city, county, and hospital taxes. You pay taxes when you OWN a home. Their may be incidentals but these are considered business expenses to the owner/landlord of the appartment building or rented house. In other words the landlord pays them.

What company pays their taxes if they are working under the table?
I pay taxes...I pay for insurance...I go to the hospital and its covered. Mexicans and PR'icans in my town are typically reffered to as "Jose-NoPay's" They come in without insurance and never pay their bill. They come in with welfare and use more money from welfare than they pay into with their "20,000".
Its common sense and economics...none of which you have. They pay sales tax....thats it. And get over it. It has nothing to do with racism.

Renting a house or apartment - they do NOT pay property taxes. The owner of the home does. Maybe subsidized by the amount of rent they are paying however.
Now what do you propose to help those whose social security numbers are showing all that extra income - which pushes them into higher tax bracket (therefore they owe more money)?

What about the illegals working under the table? Or what about them not paying their medical bills? It comes out of our taxes. Also Mr. Do you know if amnesty is granted our tax deficit will go up 79 billion dollars a year. That is because most illegals that would get amnesty work low paying jobs. But the number of government programs they use will increase because they will be citizens who will qualify for more programs. Therefore they will use more tax money than they pay out. Also it will be hard for other people to get visas to come here if amnesty is granted. So even if they do and will pay taxes a deficit is created by them comprendes?

They don't pay taxes. Employers don't take out federal tax, school tax, social security, workers comp., health care. It's called being paid under the table. It isn't reported. They have no known address to the government. Why do you think no one knows for sure just how many are in the country. There is no record. Which also means pedophiles, rapists, drug dealers, criminals, walk among us every day. American tax payers pay the bills for schooling, health care and social services. Seems Nick thinks if you steal a persons identity you should be rewarded with Social security.

Most illegals are undocumented, so paid under the table; no FICA or Social Security deductions. There is a certain area in Houston that has a huuuuge amount of cash. 90% Hispanic.

Even if they pay all taxes they owe (and many don't) poor people don't pay in taxes nearly what is spent on them in services like education and health care. People who are not poor have to pay for most of those costs for poor people. We do that for our own people (as Mexico chooses not to do it for its own) because we want our people to have opportunities and are willing to pay for THEM. We are not willing to pay for foreigners ignoring our immigration limits to steal our funding because they think their family's better life is more important than our families's better lives. Of course they will think their family is more important, but so do we ours, and we are the ones footing the bill.
Our schools are being ruined due to overcrowding and stretching our education funds over far too many people.
In addition, when they live with far too many people for a family structure, they are not paying their share of a school's taxes, you know.

With your fake SS# you tell your boss that you have 10 dependents... not only is there no witholding, but you can actually get money back through the EIC (earned income tax credit)...
And even if they are paying some taxes, they are ILLIGAL .. what part of illigal do you not understand?

Many recent illegal immigrants are paid under the table in cash, or as contractors. That means -- no one is paying payroll taxes for them. So, that's no income taxes paid (state and federal), no social security/medicare tax paid.
