I don't say that about people from the Middle East, or anywhere.

What do you mean by "Christians"? Those who are members of some church or those those who follow in His footsteps according to His teaching?

Christ said: small is the gate and narrow the path that leads unto life, and few are those who find it. Matthew 7:14.

Christ also said that the 2 first and foremost commandments are, to love God with all our being and to love (show compassion and forgiveness toward) your neighbour, even if he/she may be your enemy. He sais all other laws or interpretations not in line with these two are invalid!

People who follow that, or at least sincerely try to do that, are followers of Christ, i.e. Christians. And I believe that these Christians do not "say mid easterns r bad ppl".

They may not agree with some of the things that are done by "the others", not necessarily just Mid Eastern people. But knowing that they themselves are not perfect they can and should and will forgive "them".

Those Mid Eastern people have ALL, Jews, Christians and Muslims! been taught the same commandments. One of the hardest things to follow for us imperfect humans is to willingly think and act with compassion and forgiveness towards the “other”. Yet it has been taught by a number of “religions” including Islam.

But the concept appears to us as “not logical”, “impractical” or “unrealistic”. So we find excuses or make “interpretations” or pick more “logical” parts from our holy books to “justify” our actions, and forget about the basic truth.

That’s why we have Jihad and why we had “holy wars” and why we are still condemning and fighting “the others” (infidels or whatever!). That’s also why we have various fractions of Muslims or Christians or Jews or Buddhists etc., though they ALL teach the wisdom of compassion and forgiveness.

Just imagine! If all humans would willingly (not because they have been told) act out of compassion and forgiveness toward the "others" there truly would be peace on Earth! - No, I'm not perfect either!

"If any show patience and forgive, that truly would be an exercise of courageous will and resolution in the conduct of affairs." Qur'an: Sura 42:43 (Counsel)

I've been a Christian for 24 years and I have never once heard a Christian say " mid easterns r bad people" or anything remotely like that. I've been to the Middle East many times. People there need Jesus same as all of us everywhere.

who said middle easterners are bad? I've never thought that. Now if you are asking about the beliefs of Islam, then yes - what Islam proposes is bad - the general population of the middle east which includes a lot of faiths, Jewish, Islamic, Christian among others.

Why do Arabs say Christians are bad people when many Arabs where Christians before the origin of Islam. In fact Mecca and Medina where Christian centres before Islam

I am a Christian and I never said that. I have heard professing Christians say those kind of things though. They are wrong. That doesn't make them bad either, just wrong. A person should not be judged by their color or nationality or geographic location. God Bless

Don't use such broad brush labels, I take offense at your question. For your information, there are even Christians from the Middle East.

No not "ALL CHRISTIANS" just like not all men or not all woman or not all children. Just because "some "do or say something doesn't mean everyone in the category does or believes the same way.

christians don't. SOME christians do. That doesn't mean everybody thinks the same way. Only a fool would say all Muslims think or act the same, eh?
