I noticed that you mentioned the word 'stress' quite a few times. It sounds like small steps are the right way for you, yep you'll lose weight by eating healthy meals, drinking water, and only diet soda. Take it easy on the diet soda too. Losing a pound a week is the healthy way, a lb. is 3500 calories.

Eating smaller portions is good, but if you workout you must realize that your burning calories. Thus, if you burn them you must also eat more than you burn. Because then you will feel lethargic, as if your starving yourself. If your going to exercise at a gym ask a trainer what meals you should be eating because I know they say it's better if you eat after you work out since you've burned all the calories. So be careful, because even though it may have the results you want it may not be the healthiest. Talk to a physician about it, or maybe find out some healthy meals on-line. Good luck! Sara.

Actually it sounds like a very good plan. If you can add a 1/2 hour walk 4 or 5 nights a week it would help even more. I lost about 20 lbs. over 4 months by just making minor adjustments to my diet..water, eliminating night snacks, walking & cutting out my weekly cheesesteaks.. Good luck!

any time you eat less and increase your workouts you will lose weight... I wouldnt stress if you miss one day but try not to miss too many .. Drinking water will help too, i dont know about the diet sodas, i dont really care for them lol

you may be used to fried foods but there are other sometimes healthier ways to cook including roasting steaming poaching baking braising and broiling

probably. as long as you eat HEALTHY small portions of food every day.
yeah.
but drink a lot of water, it helps cleanse the body.
it worked for me but remember that this has to be constant. don't skip a day or two!
