Yesterday I started working on drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I'm on my 8th glass today and I am freezing cold. Do you think that increasing my water intake is causing me to get cold?

Your body is just not use to it. It actually does thin out fluid in your blood. It even helps to keep body part moist. Just be careful not to drink too much, it starts to mess with your electrolytes...Make you feel drunk. Can make you have seizures. I've actually worked with people who drank so much their stomach looked as if they were pregnant.

Keep drinking those 8 glasses and you may see a big difference in a few weeks. It will also clear up your complexion, lubes your joints. You wouldn't believe all the people who mistake hunger pains for thirst and are dehydrated because of the lack of water.

Well after my 8 or 10 glass of water I am not cold. I am not sure why maybe your body is just not used to you drinking all of this water. I hope you can figure out you problem! Good luck Just as a tip when you are sick drink lots of water it helps you get over your cold faster.

No the increased water is not making you cold. Your skin is now able to expose more moisture to the surrounding air in order to cool off the natural way. If you are getting to much cooling, wear more clothing...long sleeves...socks...long pants, or turn of the fans/air conditioning.

Your body is supposed to regulate its internal temperature that way.
