Go to Wal-mart or anywhere and get the Revlon staightener. It is the BEST! Almost everyone I know has it. It is only about $20.00. It heats up in 1-2 minutes and it heats up to a really hot tempurature. Try it! For a product I would use the Dove damage control. Hope I helped! :D

i have extremely thick, wavy hair that is hard to straighten, and i am in luv with my remington wet 2 straight (thought i never straighten it when it's wet, because that is VERY damaging).
out of the 30 settings, i only spend about 20-30 minutes on a setting of 9 to straighten my hair. im sure that the higher settings will work wonders for you (but also be slightly more damaging) since i only need such a low setting for my crazy hair. it costs about $25 at walmart.
many heat protectants are also available at walmart; i use Vo5 miracle mist, but i've heard that tresemme and dove have excellent products as well
good luck!

You are not going to get a good quality straightener for anything under probably $55. CHIs are the best, as well as any iron made of ceramic or tourmaline. Make sure you use heat protectant on your hair and use a shampoo and conditioner for heat treated hair.

Shoot for a ceramic straightener from a beauty supply store. As for products I absolutely love Redken Anti Snap Extreme Leave in treatment. The resulting softness makes it well worth the price . You can find it at reputable salons.

I have a CurlMaster Cermaic and I think its great! It reaches a set high temp but its not so hot that it will burn your hair. It heats up right away & when your done with it it cools down just as fast. I got mine from Sally's .

i love love LOVE the conair ultrathin iron. i think all irons work the same as long as you set it to the right heat for your hair and straight the right amount of hair.
good products..try aussie dual personality spray.
shampoo, conditioner, and cream from SunSilk works SOO well. they have one that helps you straighten out your hair..the purple kind. and it smells AMAZING.
