Hi. i have got a code for XP FCKGW-RHQQ2-YXRKT-8TG6W-2B7Q8. It will not let me install SP2. has anyone got an alternative code? I am 15 and wanted to take my laptop to school so I can work better with less school computer restrictions, but at present I can only get XP Home to work, which is no good on the Domain controllers. PLEASE!!! I am virtually begging here. I can't afford a new CD!!! the first license person to give me a license code will get best answer. i would be really grateful for your help! thanks!

Frank, i know it won't work on XP Home. I have got XP Pro, but I can't get the code to work. My question was has anyone got an alternative code for XP Pro as mine is useless.

Hi all, i do know about how it works everyone. I do build computers. I just need a code until I can afford a new disc, or until vista comes out. also, i never upgrade, you are just carrying up the bugs from your original operating system. clean installs are much better!

not that parents cant afford it. its that my dad won't. he says that over £100 for a CD is ridiculous. although i know it is the license you pay for. try telling him that!

it is XP with SP1. one has got some key changer on it? don't know what it is. gives a list of codes. also, telephone activate didnt work last time i tried

fck number were for demo use pre sp 1 & 2
if you search on a crack site and look for a 8c8 .... number you can put sevice pack 2 on but the number will trigger the ellegal number tool so you will have to turn off auto updates
best bet by a new disc with avalid number as I have

i am afraid to tell you that this key has been copied more times than any other copy of xp,i had a copy with this 2 years ago and i know of around 20 others who had the same key
first answer...even if we wanted to give you a key,it wouldnt activate your copy as the activation numbers would be different
also a key is waht you pay for when purchasing a copy of xp..not the disk,that costs around 3p,the key is worth around £150,so i very much doubt anyone will give you a key for nothing
the only 2 ways round this would be 1) phone up microsoft and buy a key of them,this would be around £40 which is around £30 cheaper than buying a copy or
2) download and install the latest operating system vista(http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/default.mspx),you must have a 800mhz+ processor and 512mb+ ram,and a graphic card capable of pixel and shader model 2.0,this is a beta copy but runs quite well

What makes you think that the people who use "answer", would want to be a party to a criminal act.
I am sure that your parents can afford an original XP Prof. with a genuine key.
Microsoft validation is done at least four times during the download of SP2 or any other major update to your platform.
An if the key is not valid, you will not be able to obtain any of the updates.
Not even sure if they still allow you to update the critical updates without a valid key.

u need a windows xp sp2 keygen and a sp1 keygen and a windows product key changer..using da keygen make a valid sp1 key and then change fro rhqq2..fckgw... to the new key..then install sp2 using a key from sp2 keygen... it'll work (i've tried it)....

yeah, you won't be able to do that. each code is individual and it will have to be activated online. if the code isn't legit then you're dumb out of luck. unless you find some crack that will work but all of them fail miserably.
p.s. don't go around downloading cracks or keygens. they will screw you over.
if you're desperate all i'm going to say is that Windows XP Corporate Edition doesn't require an individual unique code. it won't work with dialup internet though.

Youv'e got a pre sp1 pirate copy of xp pro and you will never get sp2 to install on to it.

Home version even with SP2 won't connect to a domain. You need the Pro version

Do a google search for Brian Carr. On his website he has about a dozen corporate/aacademic keys and one will work. Don't worry about activiation they bypass that requirement. Good luck

it is illegal sofware products and illegal copies of all microsoft products microsoft it steping down on them that have . illegal copies of all microsoft products ,. 1 you cant have the windows up date's you can not download the new ie 7 and when it comes you update of windows os from xp to vista , you cant update coz you have the wrong product key on your system you can not download any update from the microsoft website
