not political question.. but i don't believe the figures.. how long would anyone survive in iraq?!

No, its an accurate acount of the deaths. Some have been non- battle deaths. Motor vehicle accidents, training accidents etc. The sad truth, 10 times this many people die daily on our nations highways.

One group is trying to fight terrorism and losing lives, the other is driving themselves to death.

Dont hear a big cry going up to ban automobiles, motorcycles and trucks no do we?

They are accurate. People have been in Iraq for 2 years without getting hurt.

As a member of the military, it'd be too hard to hide the deaths, if there were more. The counts are accurate.

Yes.
The way the counting is done omits many deaths.
If someone is injured, and dies in hospital, they are not counted, for example.
I've seen estimates of 20,000 plus.
There is obviously something being hidden because Bush dies not allow research or photographs on this subject..

No, they are not. Perhaps if you get your information from sources other than the Main stream media, or left wing blogs you would have a different impression. Wars aren't fun, soldiers die.
