I have. There was a woman who was in my life that i loved so completely, so dearly, and so purely that sometimes it hurt. I love her too much, but i can not love her any less. (I am still in love with her). Several years ago, i gave up a full scholarship to Yale to be with her, and i gave up so many other things just so that i could watch her achieve the things which she wanted out of life. I look at love as the greatest gift that anyone could ever have, and i would sacrifice anything for it, as i feel that no earthly price and no sacrifice is too much to give for love. Recently, we she left me for a difference in values. Somewhere in this great romance, she became more materialistic. She decided that she did not want someone who was a hopeless romantic as i am. I love her with all my soul, mind, heart, and with all that i am. May i burn in hell for this next statement, but i say my rosary to her and to no one else. She just left, at first without an explanation, leaving me wondering what is happening. My life begins with her, and without her it surely must end. Thus, with her leaving came the rise of the death of a hopeless romantic, and the death of the most amazing and pure forms of love ever. Women are the closest a man will ever get to God, and love is the ultimate form of worship. It is so sad to see such a lovely flame die =(

I believe once you love someone, no matter how things turn out, they will still have a small place in your heart. I was talking to a girl for a year or so, but due to trust issues i had to end it. I knew i don't love her anymore like i used to, but every now and then my mind catches a glimpse of the past and i can still feel her in my heart from just the memory.

i had a major mega heart break last weekend!!
my bf found some of my q's abou thim on here... some were jokes some were genuine concern but spur of the moment.... and he took them all the wrong way.. we hada big fight.. that brought up other things.. ended talking bout how our relationship wasnt working (long distance relation ship) i was torn up by that all weekend.. thru the week we went thru we will jst be friends.. and now are in an open relationship.... which i guess i am ok with!!! better than loosing him completely!! but then maybe u think i am just naive! lol but we were madly in love.. and suddenly it seemd to fizzle.... not completely but it did go.... and i think it may be my mind trying to block true feeling so i amn't depressed all the time.!!! lol

I loved someone and he really went away. He got shot and died the day after my birthday. This was 15 years ago. I'm married now but sometimes when I hear a song or smell something that reminds me of him it stirs up memories and it still hurts.

ok.... my girlfriend and i hadn't seen eachother all summer, and we had made plans to see eachother when i got back from working at this summer camp. i had been missing her really badly while i was away, and so was really excited to see her again, but when i got home i got a letter from her saying that she thought that we were "better off as friends" i couldn't stop crying for a few hours. and it turns out that she met a guy over the summer, and decided that she didn't like girls anymore. which hurt even worse, becuase how would you like it if your girlfriend decided that she was straight while dating you?

my dad died... that aint gonna make u cry but try reading a sad book... i dont know if you're a book reader but if u r here r some books that made me cry or depressed...
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (i LOVE this book)
Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy (this book made me so depressed omg it took me a long time to finish it and i waz so depressed the whole time i waz reading it)
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte ( i LOVE this book too)
Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell (everybody needs to read this book)
i cant really think of any other books... i bet ur not a book reader though...
o and i havnt read this book but my friend did and she cried her head off

i was in love with a boy two summers ago. we spent every moment together and he was my first love. he was two years older than me. when he went away, after joining the army, we had to write letters while he was in iraq. he never wrote me back and i couldnt figure out why until a year later when i found his letters in my dad's dresser. i wrote back to the adress on the letters, but didnt receive a reply. then, a lieutenant wrote back telling me he had been killed in action. i cant ever love another like i loved him.

i had loved someone... someone i choose to give everything. we both in love with each other, plan to get married. after 3 years of being together.... he left and marry someone else. After what happened... i still love him and i don't know when will the time come ... that i will feel and i can say, i don't love him anymore...... 8 years had passed..... but i can't get back my heart.
