They keep on giving..... Until they give out.

Actually many people get more from giving than they do from receiving. These people are truly an inspiration to me.

bobkgin, the givers become very, very tired and close to despair, at times.

Fortunately there is hope.

When one receives love, they are enriched by the experience because being loved speaks to the deepest need within each of us. When the giver realizes the preciousness of the gift freely given there is a swelling of joy within and new loving energy is born. This love is a joy and an urge for more of the same. So the givers learn that they are a wellspring...the more they give love the more love they have to give... it's a wonderful mystery.

Take heart all you givers out there. The love you give is received and feels joyful to the recipients! And to all the receivers (and aren't we all also receivers, thanks for allowing love to be shared with you/us).

And bobkgin, thank you for all you give.

:-)

At the end ,the givers will be more happy than the receivers...because they are not selfish....Receivers...these are people who just want always to be fed......without doing anything....HAPPINESS AND FULLFILMENT...these are the greatest feelings for the givers.....

Love is a contagious gift and the more someone gives out love the more love to him is given back. Out of love you can create a song and if that song is expressed openly, many ears will hear it and sometimes it becomes so popular that even you would be be amazed to learn that there will more than one who will you for the song.

You speak as if love were a commodity that can be used up. Not so! The more one loves the fuller one gets.

i wrote this some time ago .. it explains how i feel about this question xx

I am blessed in many ways

i have much to offer this world , i am filled with a vast amount of love
too much for me to hold to myself ,
my heart fills with this love, it overflows with this love
i am blessed to have this in my heart ,i am also blessed to have the ability to so freely share it
with words to comfort , with arms to hold , with a shoulder to lean on, with laughter :o)
what more of an honour can one person have than to give love to another
to have them accept it,to fill their heart in the same way mine is filled
to bless them with a full heart
and in doing so they can feel as blessed as i am and share this with others also
if i can give a little of my love each day and still feels as full as i am ,
then i am indeed blessed
