And I have ADHD, but I'm not sure if that is the only reason. It involves putting the words together and creating an image, which requires some skill. I am also left-handed, so my brain is different (opposite) than right-handed people.

I truly do not think that being right or left handed has anything to do with it however ADHD was the first thing that came to my mind before I read your additional comments.

Find a support group for people with ADHD and find out how they handle it. Ask your doctor for advice or resources.

Yes, I believe it is the same problem. But there might be something else lurking in the background. You need to see a therapist and get an update on your condition.

It's largely about concentration, which is an acquired skill. It takes practice. You can solve these problems. Good luck.

Reading and/or listening can be affectd by ADHD. Many people had this disorder and learn to compensate for it. Are you getting help with this?
