Its not that I want to became a buddhist. It just that ever buddhist I know is Asian. I wondered if non-asians can convert also.

of course non Asians can be Buddhist .. it is a way of life , living by beautiful philosophies ...

It's an eastern religion. There are plenty of non-Asian buddhists.

Of course and from my understanding, Buddhism is the fastest growing religion in America...HURRAY! Maybe peace isn't such a distant hope afterall.

I'm not a Buddhist but I love that they do not have a religion of fear and hate.

I know lots of Buddhists of all different races. I consider myself semi-Buddhist.

I love Buddhists, because even though they don't eat crispy smokey bacon sandwiches, they are calm and peaceful and i respect that.

Many westerners are buddhists -- zen, tibetan, pure land, etc.

yes you can become buddist the Dali lama is a very simple man
and I love his teachings. Maybe if we lived by his words our world
would be a better place.
