I would freak because my kid is supposed to be my daughter in the first place! I would probably be angry because that would mean that he was my daughter, and then became my son and then he wants to change back into being a girl again and we don't have that kind of money to throw around for flippant decisions.

Well shocked obviously. You have been her little boy since birth so it will be a shock..but if that is what you want to do I would take you to talk to someone first and hash out the rest when you get a little older. The problem with this question is..
Everyone reacts in a different way. You know best how your mom will react..trend lightly and good luck!

I'd get him into counseling immediately, and I'd tell him it was much too soon for him to make such a radical change to himself. I'd support him in understanding it's alright to be confused about his gender, gender roles, etcetera but that such a decision would likely be best made as an adult, a few years into adulthood. And I would love the heck out of him and remind him what a great guy he was, every chance I got.

I'd tell him that that's very open-minded of him, but he should wait until he's a bit older to make a decision like that. Possibly after high school... and if he still wants to change his sex because of his orientation (NOT preference), then go for it.

I would wonder if he is getting teased at school about being "feminine" kids are really into this at his age. Also he is at the age that sexual identity starts to really work on the mind. Some counseling probably ought to happen to be sure that he is sure about his sexual identity etc.

well, i don't have kids, but, hypothetically speaking, i would probably ask him why he wants this, and if he thinks that it is the right thing for him, but i would make him wait until he was 18 and had more time to think it over, becuase it is a rather large step. but other than that i's be fine with it.

I would try and talk to him about it. Ask what it is that made him feel that way? I recommend counseling. The worst thing to do is to put him down about it. I know it may be hard to hear but your child wants your trust.

I wouldnt laugh at him but would be inclined to tell him its not allowed until you are 56 at least and even then his doctor has to have a look . If it was me buddy , I would humour the guy..................or inquire about how his nudger is going to be removed and how does a fella go for a whiz .. ?? Good Luck :O)
