I just had a dnc a week ago today and two days ago i started having cramping, bleeding, and blood clots. Is this abnormal?

I went to the dr today and they said it was normal i just want someone elses opinion

I would have to say yes, but remember I am not a Doctor. I suggest for you to see the Doctor as soon as you can. OK?

Some bleeding is expected and normal, but heavy bleeding and clots can indicate a problem. There is the possibility that the procedure did not remove all of the tissue that it was supposed to. If the clots are the size of a golf ball or larger, and you are saturating a pad every hour - you should be calling your doctor for re-evaluation. If you feel lightheaded, dizzy, or faint - go directly to the emergency room - you may be hypovolemic.

well they say it is normal if it isnt too heavy and u dont have a fever mabey u should double check with the doc just to be on the safe side,a nd good luck on ur next baby

Yeah it is. But if your really concerned I would just give the doc a call and ask him/her just to be on the safe side!
