I am a hairdresser in Ohio. If you have natural curl or a perm, the best thing to spruce your curl up and make it even curlier is a product for curly hair that has magnesium in it. It constricts the curl. Also use a gel and mousse together. When drying it, at the very end use your cool air button all over. The cold air closes the cuticle and makes hair stay the way you dried, plus adds shine. If you are curling your hair with some type of tool use Kenra 19 thermal acting spray, it holds in the curl and protects it from the heat. It is awesome. I hope that I was some help.
