can anyone tell me if there is something that i can download so that i can watch dvd's on my computer? thanks!

You have to have a DVD player in your computer. If you just have a CD player or R/W there is no software alone that will allow it.

To read a physical DVD disc, you need a DVD-ROM drive along with some type of encoder like Power DVD to play it. If you dont' have a DVD-ROM, and you have the DVD on your computer like you downloaded it or something, you can use Daemon Tools to mount the DVD movie onto a "Virtural" dvdrom and then use Power DVD to play it. It's not just Power DVD that can play it, as long as you got a codec that can play DVD's than it should be fine, Windows Media Player 10 has codec's built into it, and can play it.

Do you have a DVD-Rom player with the computer? It should have come with software to play the DVDs.

if u don't have the software to watch the dvd u can download it from the internet go to yahoo and search for free cd rom download and get it

providing you have a DVD player on your PC, what's wrong with using Windows Media Player?

Windows media player 11 is great and so is Dvix
