Do you mean break?
Chances are not high that he has a broken back but if he's having issues with his back, he should see his physician.

He probably pulled a muscle or slipped a disc but only a Doctor can diagnose. You mentioned it happened a few days a go; what's happened since then?

It is unlikely that he broke his back without any trauma (e.g. falling or being struck by something). However, even minor back problems can cause serious problems in older patients and, if he is unable to do normal everyday tasks, then he should go to an urgent care this weekend to have that checked.

No he did not brake his back. Although, you should take him to the doctor. If he had broken his back he wouldn't be able to get up.

I'm NOT a doctor, but it sounds like he's got a very serious back injury and he should go to the hospital IMMEDIATELY, in my opinion!
