I think that they are all harmful.BUT I think marijuana is the MOST harmful of the three.Look at all the side effects of marijuana. It does kill.I known people who have died from using marijuana.

Of the three, there is only one that excessive use doesn not result in death. Marijuana. Of the three, only one is not known to have ever exclusively caused a fatal accident. Marijuana. Of the three, only one is not physically addictive. Marijuana. Drinking kills more people in America than terrorists and George Bush combined do! Tobacco kills more people in America than terrorists and George Bush combined! Marijuana kills noone.

All studies showing that Marijuana was the cause of a fatal car accident or violent crime, Marijuana was in the blood (which it is for 28 days after smoking), but so was alcohol, barbituates, opiates, or narcotic pharmaceutical drugs (all of which are in the blood only as long as they are effective...it means you are high on them if it is in your blood, unlike marijuana, where it stays 27 1/2 days after you stop being high). Nicotine is also generally found in most of those cases.

Using any mind altering substance while piloting any heavy machinery (car, airplane, tractor, etc), is not a good idea.

Every single study on the effects of marijuana have concluded that it does not kill brain cells. That was just made up for Reefer Madness. Every single study has said that it is the least harmful to the human body of the three, though it does leave tar deposits in the lungs, but to less an extent than tobacco when smoked in a typical fashion.

Apapillon...You are either lying or just terribly uninformed about your own friend. Either there is no friend, or there was something else going on that killed your friend. There has never once been a single person ever recorded to have died as a result of Marijuana. Period. Not one.

heyrobo...See paragraph 4 of this answer. While some tests found that smoking an excessive amount (they gave rats the equivalent of between 60 and 100 joints per day for the equivalent of 40 years) can cause minor emphysema and lung problems related to physically burning them by inhaling that much smoke, realistic tests based on what Marijuana users actually smoke, no harmful effects were found. Compared to, say, aspirin, where continuous use of only triple the effective dose is deadly!

drinking is more harmfull than marijuana trust me, I'm an alcoholic and have seen the deffirence between both and alcohol effects more than marijuana. I acturally have to be in a hospital for 7 day's min or max 14 day's on proper medication otherwise there is a 98% chance I could die due to slipping into a coma or having a fit which relates to death so I would say you are right that alcohol is much worse since there isn't that chance happening if you just smoke marijuana and then give up cold turkey.

Alcohol is the worst mostly for the mind, and too much and constant use harms the body. Smoking mostly harms the body. Marijuana mostly harms the mind. Therefore, I think alcohol is the worst, but smoking is pathetic and marijuana is pointless.

Responsible drinking is normal. It goes with dating!

Smoking is an absurd habit. It is a terrible addiction.

Using a little marijuana is risky but fun. It helps you have a good time.

Drinking in excess, where you get even a 'light buzz' is bad for you because it kills brain cells and impairs memory. It also unfairly puts others in danger if you drive, provide any form of care for another person, or operate machinery. Smoking cigarettes causes cancer and obviously can kill you, and smoking marijuana does the same to you insides as cigarettes but also does some brain damage like drinking does and impairs memory and judgment. I work as a director in a substance abuse clinic for women. Believe me, it ruins lives--just like drinking, smoking and doing illicit drugs. It even makes pretty women look ugly over time--just google "meth mouth" to see what I mean.

Yes to all three. Drinking in excess and over an extended period of time effects the liver, kidneys and other organs of the body.
Smoking cigerettes and or marijuana effects the lungs, throat and other organs. All three over time can damage the body beyond repair.

Yes I believe they are all harmful if used to excess. Drinking can destroy your liver. Smoking destroys your lungs (I am a smoker) and marijuana destroys your brain cells.
