Coming to know this is experiential, I think. Try loving someone selflessly and see how this informs you about who you are in this world and indeed the nature of the world itself. Its pretty eye opening but its not something you can be told about. It must be experienced firsthand.

It would take erasing the knowledge that things other than love have also taught me. I am a fan of love... but I don't think it holds the patent on wisdom.
