I became fast friends with a guy i met early this year. He has always been intensely flirty and touchy with me. We have become very close. We've even made out here and there on nights we went out drinking. We have spent almost everyday together for the last 5 months, but right now he's away from home. Everytime we talk over the phone, he's still flirty and sweet but he has to tell me every day that he met a girl. Basically, all he wants to tell me about during our conversations is a new girl everyday that wants him so bad. I've always had guys as best friends, but none of them ever acted like this. I've felt that he has pretty strong feelings for me, and i have developed some strong feeling for him over time. Now, I can't figure out if he's making up these stories to make me jealous, if these girls really exist and he's just bragging, or if he feels like he needs to get across to me that he's not interested in anything more than being friends with me. What do you all think?

It sounds like he is trying to make you jealous. Try talking to him. Tell him how you feel. If he is meeting other girls then you know he doesnt care about you. And its better to find out as soon as you can.

I'd casually ask him how he feels about those girls. It'll give him a chance to reveal where he is emotionally. If he says he's really into them, then it's a lost cause for you anyways.
And if he's lying to try and get you jealous, then I still don't think you should bother wasting your time on him either. Those kinds of games are for kids.

he wants to let you know that if u don't want him, there's sooo many other options. basically...he's trying to make u jealous. pretend it doesn't get to you. just listen. i'm sure if u start talking to him about guys u've met he'll stop all this bragging about other chicks. in any event...since he's no longer in the vicinity...i'd go for the guys who are closer to you. u can keep him as a friend...no more though. he's acting childish.

Turn the tables on the putz. Stop talking with him. Nothing worse than someone playing games with you. Start looking for another guy. When you score one, your ex will be the one posting questions about how to get you back.

He's insecure. He feels the need to gain your attentions by making inuendos regarding his "supposed" meeting of other girls who are showing interest in him. He thinks by doing this that you will both believe he's passing up other opportunities in favor of you and that this will make you feel so obligated to him that you won't see other guys while he's away. That's called insecurity.

Ask the guy out firmly but politely about what he thinks abt yourself and decide. May be he is just trying to make u feel insecure.

I think he is not too sure where he stands with you and is going the wrong way about trying to find out. If you want him, tell him.

hey, well as to the other girls id just say that he is trying to see u get jelous to show him how much u like him. and he probably does have really strong feelings for u r and is just trying to see if u feel the same well thats wat i think hope i helped

Ask him ..........tell him that you have feelings for him , and does this have a chance to progress .
