Don't know how Jesus would feel about it, but the businessmen love it!! How can it get any more commercial? They don't even wait until after Thanksgiving any more. Does anyone actually go to church on Christmas? Last year some churches didn't even have services on Sunday -- Christmas Day. Let's rename it Santa Claus Day -- it's an embarrassment to Christianity.

Even if it was not a celebration of the birth of my Saviour Jesus, He would probably be shocked at the number of 'Christians' who celebrate a PAGAN celebration.
I also think there would also be some horror at the horrific commercialism- the Bible says that whoever worships money cannot serve God also.

Probably much the same as he felt about the pharisees turning the Lord's house into a den of iniquity where sacrificial animals could be bought and sold and such. He may even go to wal mart and turn over a few Santa displays.

How would Jesus feel about priests wearing Giant Gold Crosses around their necks? Blasphemy. And Idol worship.

He said give unto ceaser what is ceasers, so I dont think he will be too upset. We have allways had winter celebrations around that time of year we would find an excuse... so acknowledge it for what it is... a bit of good old fashioned pagen fun

I remember Jesus said " love thy God and love thy neighbour as you love youself" but I dont remember him saying " and dont forget my birthday"... in other words its how you live the other 364 days that count

Considering Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus, I don't think he would care.

I suspect he would see it as idolatrous frivolity.

It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. So why exchange STUFF? Wouldn't it be better to exchange good deeds?
