During a segment on the September 19 edition of the Christian Broadcasting Network's The 700 Club about Pope Benedict XVI's recent controversial comments about Islam and Al Qaeda's reaction, host Pat Robertson stated:
"We understand the leaders of Al Qaeda are calling for a holy war between Islam and Christianity. It's going to come, ladies and gentlemen. Islam is not a religion of peace. No way."

It wouldn't take much stretch of the imagination to predict it. Wars have been usually based on religious beliefs (or disbeliefs), and each side usually thinks that it's their "supreme destiny" to win the war because their god is the "only" god.
I think christianity and islam have been in war before our modern time. As for a world war between the two, again, that wouldn't be out of the question.

Ok, so to show that Islam is not a religion of peace, Pat Robertson, a so-called Christian, declared that there will be war?
Aren't Christians supposed to be pacifists? That man is not a good Christian - he's a good manipulator of the weak minded, and a politician.

We are at war against terrorism, we meaning the Western world. America has been under attack for years before 9/11. Jihad has already been called against the West. America and Israel are considered as infidels-the Great Satan- they are out to destroy anyone against their Islamic-fascist's beliefs.
The crazy hardliner Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad he said he would usher in the Messiah.He just doesn't know how right he is. They want to wipe Israel off the map & they deny the Holocaust, and call it a myth.A very dangerous man.
Pat Robertson needs to retire, I respect the man. But, I believe he has health problems.

Pat Robertson is the devil, he will say and do whatever to keep the ratings up and the money flowing, Oh and the prayer request.
he probably prays to God that it comes true so he can really cash in, people stop watching bad television
If it does come true, leave my children out of it because they are not Christians, Muslim or any religion, so you Christians get ready to fight you own war and with our no religion children

Of course there will be. Religion has caused more war, death and destruction than anything else, why should it stop now. Just keep on rollin baby. Religion is the worst thing that ever polluted peoples minds. Just watch the news every day, if that's not enough to convert you to an atheist then nothing is.

The Fanatic Muslims are already at war with Christianity. That was included in the first holy war declared during 9/11.

Islam is a religion of peace...for all muslims. The rest of us have a choice, to convert to Islam or be killed.
Make no mistake, there is already a war going on, between Islam and everyone else. The results thus far are not promising. The muslim extremists are capable of performing acts of incredible savagery, because to them we are less than human.

There is a Mid-eastern legend that says the sons of Abraham--of Ishmael &Issac--shall stand together, shall die together, side by side, and the sons of Abraham shall find peace. It means they will have to stand together to fight-who? The West? It just may be. But, they will end up together, no matter how long it takes.
