I worked on ships as a crew member for 4 years. There are a lot of myths about life at sea. anyone interested in knowing?

Hell yea. My buddy played sax in a ship band for ~ 5 years - died when he was 30. Not sure how. Guess it has its ups and downs. He would write me postcards complaining of cramped quarters etc, but then would go on to tell me bout the 35c Heiniken, scuba diving in the best spots, having 3 weeks off between cruises with airfare paid to Europe etc etc. As much as he professed to hate it sometimes he kept goin back til it killed him.
