Congrats on the happy occassion!
Now down to business, when she mailed out invitations she more than likely had pieces of paper in them that said we are registered at "Target" or "WalMart". If you don't have the invitation as her if they are registered somewhere.. if she is you can go to the store and usually where customer service is or near the jewlery dept. (walmart) you can just enter her name and it will print out a list of what they need.
If she isn't registered somewhere just go with the basics, something nice yet conventional for their new life together..you could put together a gift basket with some bathtowels, washcloths, and a bathmat... or tupperware, or a nice set of cookware or china/place settings...
Just something they could use for their new home and life together. I wish you luck with your search! I hope it's a great day for everyone!

Depends on if she has been living on her own and has a household already, or starting from scratch. If starting from scratch, then pick something from their registry. I think a great "uncle" gift is a gift card to Lowes or Home Depot.
Or if you really want to be remembered, find out where the honeymoon is, and arrange for a delivery of champagne or something really special. Most places will help you arrange this. If they are not honeymooning, then find a local private cabin and pay for the weekend there.

Check the registry or give cash. People really do spend a lot of time doing their registry, so it is polite to grant her wishes. If you don't know where she is registered just go online to all your local possibilities an type in her name and state in the wedding registry search. Almost every major retailer has one. Try: Macy's (Filene's),Linen's N Things, Bed Bath And Beyond, Target, Kohls, any major Kitchen stores in your area or anything else suitable you can think of. Gauranteed you will find her. Macy's/Filene's is the best place to start.

If you know what size bed they have, linens are a wonderful gift, stay with a plain neutral color.
If you are sentimental, a special picture frame or album for the bride and groom.
Check the bridal registry for preferences... the couple may want a place setting of china or something like that.

An album or a nice frame with their names engraved and their wedding date. That kind of personal stuff always makes a big statement. If you want something just for her, buy a jewelry box and have that engraved and buy a bracelet to go inside it. You can go to Things Remembered (you can go to the store or the website) and sometimes they sell them as a set for cheap. Good Luck.

I say cash works well or you could ask her mom and dad if she needs anything for her home. I'm sure she will be living in a new place maybe. And its tough just getting started like that and needing new everything. By the way I'm 26, 2morrows my first anniversary! I liked money best. Just dont forget to put it in a nice sentimental greeting card for the both of them.

Go with what is on the registry! There is a reason that people spend so much time making them... it is exactly what they want from each store and because of that you know they will like it! My sister only got a few things from her registry because everyone wanted to pick unique gifts and wound up having to go out and buy the things she registered for herself.

Check her registry... that's always a big help.
If not, house stuff towels, dishes, a mixer... glassware... when in doubt (as tacky as it sounds) cash is great.
I always think it's thoughful... to me it lets the person know that you couldn't think of something and instead want them to use it how they need it. Cash is also good at weddings cause they can use it on the honeymoon.

I am a Bride to be and personally, I would prefer money or even a gift certificate to a place that ppl know I would shop. My fiance already have our house so we have all the contents already so there's no need to give any of that..... a monetary gift would be most preferred I'm sure.
