How are you paying more just because you work in a school? Surely anybody who goes on holiday outside of term time pays the same prices. Or do they have higher charges for teachers and other school staff?

NO it's sooooo not fair. Yes teachers have more holidays but we need them - I have never met anyone who works longer hours than teachers. AND not only do we have to pay premium rates to go on holiday, but the place is packed with kids when you get there! We should definately get disounted rates

why do you have to pay more money to go on a holiday?
you work at a school and you have to pay more money, (as oppose to what), to go on a holiday. please rephrase, i don't understand. depending on your holiday, at a school, that could take place, during any of the, many breaks, one gets on that job, including long summers. it is not necessary for one to have to present, or disclose any information, about where one woks or otherwise, here in america, that is. if there were such a need, to inform of a holiday destination, or of a holiday intention, why?. and why if you work at a school would that holiday cost you more, as a result???

Do you mean, when school holidays are on the old supply and demand means resort and ticket prices are higher.
I see it as swings and roundabouts, you get how many weeks holiday a year? 12,13...just guessing
lots of people only get 4,5 maybe 6
