before closing time I HATE THAT!!! I know there must others in the same situation, please tell me how much it bothers you and to the shoppers WHY DO YOU DO IT??? The day is over people we have lives and families to go home to!!!

the shopping public quits work 4-4;30pm, so shopping is done under the wire.
Yes you may have a family to go home to, but 5 minutes is not going to kill you, for the privilage of being pleasant to people who have jobs and families as you do, detoured to your shop to insure and other dollar earned for you, before they too can go home.
You need a life sweety, if thats all you get to complaing about STOP it! Some deal with deadly disases withouth whining about it

I only do it when it is an emergency, and I always feel super bad and guilty and try to get my business done as quickly as possible. But the first answerer is correct, i do have the right to be there until closing time if i so choose, and you really should be grateful you have a job in this day and age. I do understand your frustration with it though.
