i have two beloved teddy bears that i always carry with me on trips. and i have not been on an international flight for 1 year. with all the new security, would they allow me to bring my two teddy bears?

the reason that i am worried is because the teddy bears have little bells in their bodies. and i do not want the security to get suspicious and make me leave the bears behind, or i do not want the security to cut open my beloved teddy bears.
i could leave them at home, but then i would miss them terribly and have not been without them for more than 48 hours. i will be travelling for 1 whole week.

i worry cause UK security is tough and i am 27 years old. and they might be suspicious of me??
i need advice.

i know that i could leave them at home just to be safe. but i am that type of person that would want them to be with me just in case there was a plane accident. or even worse, a terror attck in new york, while i am in london and there would be no way home

Hello! Okay...first off...please, please don'y worry yourself over this for one single more second...because I can assure you that we would never, ever, ever, cut open your beloved Teddys! You will need to put them in a bin along with your other carry on items to make a quick run thru the X-ray (you might want to bring several clean paper towels to nest them on inside the bins as they can be very dirty...people put thier stinky shoes & so forth directly in to the same bins that you put items that touch your face...yuck! You don't want your Teddys to smell like feet!) Trust me...we see TONS of toys, and stuffed animals with automated, or musical, or talking mechanisms inside. Probably 1 every 2 minutes...it's that common. We know what we are looking for and you can be assured, that as long as your Teddys have not been tampered with...you & they, will be fine. As long as you are prepared, and know what to expect...Airport Security is no sweat.
Relax...and enjoy your trip. Watch an in-flight movie, chat up your neighbor, and enjoy having some time to just chill out and have no immediate responsibilities (in-flight is one of the only times in life that you can truly do this!)

Teddy Bears are not on the banned stuff to be taken abroad, and it's wise to let it go thru x-rays and don't panic, if they required additional screening let them do and if they want to hold the item, tell them that to keep them in safe custody and you will take them back on your return and have some sort of paperwork so you can claim back upon your return or alternatively check them in your main luggage and if you gonna miss them merely for few hours upon landing in destination country you can always have them back to cuddle.
