What if your state tells you that your husband has to father you three children before you can have your tubes tied?

They don't get to!
However, they do have the right to choose when they want to stop fathering children. Do you think you have the right to force a child into a man's life that doesn't want any more?
If you are married it really can't be decided by one or the other, it needs to be agreed on by both of you.
You need to calmly disscuss how you feel and be willing to listen to how he feels.

He can't. If your state won't let you get your tubes tied after 1 or 2, have the baby in a different state.

Because a relationships are supposed to he equal. He has just as much of a say in what you do when it comes to reproducing. Making babies isn't just about the woman--it's abou the man too. If a woman wanted to stop having kids--I guarantee it'd happen no questions asked. Why do men get the short end of the deal in a relationship?

I don't believe any man should have the right to control a woman's body. I don't care if they are married to them. I have four children of my own and it was my own decision not my husbands. And when I did not want anymore that was my decision too and my husband went along with it because he knew that was my decision and my body. Unfortunately it's still considered a mans world.

If you ar ein a marriage then it MUST be a mutual decision not just a one sided one. However, before getting into the arguement about having more kids you need to make sure you can financially and emotionally take care of them.

what the hell kind of 18th century ****** up place do you live in sweetheart seriously, and why would you let people tell you when to stop having kids try getting some birth control like an iud if you don't want anymore they usually won't do it unless you have 3 kids though

Who says we do?
Women can control their own bodies. We have no control over that other than refraining from intimacy, having a vasectomy, or using condoms. But hat doesn't make a woman sterile!

What state are you living in? I will decide when I don't want to have any more kids..... he isn't the one who has to squeeze them out.

i have wondered that myself. my ex now had to sign the papers for my tubal. he didn't want to but i explained that the dog might have to scoot over for him. if you don't want any more children, stand your ground.
