Are you kidding me? No way! That's great that you trust him and not her, but at the end of the day you'll be setting yourself up for heartache. I wouldn't let him go to a dance with another girl. If he really persists than there must be something else going on.

I'd let him go. As a guy, if I *really* liked a girl, I'd want her to be with me whenever I can, especially at an event like homecoming.
