Egyptian cotton with an astronomical thread count is awesome!! Now just go down to the bank and take out a home improvement loan so you can buy some.

Egyptian Cotton-also look for the highest number where it states the thread count, the higher the number, the better the sheets. The one down side to all of this is the price. You wouldn't believe how expensive they can be. If you can't afford them, then whatever kind you buy, still look for the high thread count. That's what really matters.

I have found some really great sheets but with a really high thread count they were so wrinkly I hated them. I get these ones from JCPenny Home Collection that I like. They are Egyptian cotton and only a 250 thread count but to me they are great and not wrinkly at all. I am sure there is something better out there but its frustrating with all the choices and then you have to buy them, wash them, try them out and what if you dont like them? Take them back and tell them they suck like I do, lol.
By the way, the JC Penney ones I get, I wait till there is a sale and I get them half off :)

Egyptian cotton w/a high thread count. Yes, they are pricey, but they just get softer & better as the years go by. Tuesday Morning has reasonable prices on these, and they go on sale often.

everybody knows the best cottons are turkish cottons. why do you think turkish towels are so expensive and elegant? so get a fabric that has turkish cotton in it it is going to be very expensive but you will get the best. ( all the celebs if you watch decorating shows use turkish towels in the bathrooms and sheets made with turkish cotton in their linens and bed sheets)
