I am a smoker, but do not smoke around children. Is it harmful for my grandchildren to visit my home? If it is, how do I go about making it safe?

Grandchildren are so precious. Before they come over, air out the house and keep walls clean and floors vacuumed.Keep the house dust free as much as possible.Nicotine sticks to things so if you javex the walls about every 6 months and dust and air out the place that is all you can do.Keep curtains washed also helps, but don't give up seeing your grandchildren.Invite them over and enjoy their company.Just cause you smoke doesn't mean you can't have time with your grandkids.Obviously you care enough to ask for ideas,so you love them.Other wise you could meet them in a park or McDonalds but that's no fun.

Do not smoke inside the home. If you do not smoke around children, why would you want them to come inside a home where you smoke? Best bet, talk to your doctor about quitting. With help and support, you can do it.
