Try pee pee pads you can get them anywhere that sell dog supplies. Also try to use a cage, keep him in a cage for a couple of hours then let him out and take him out right away. He will learn to go to the door and dogs don't usually go in their cage. Unless the have something wrong with them or you kept them in there for like 9 hours

potty train him!!!!! a way to potty train him, is like this.
hang a bell on your backyard doorknob. evry hour, take him, and make him hit the bell with his paw. give him some praise, say good boy, maybe a little cheerio, then take him out and make him go do his business. then take him back in, and give him lots of praise! like maybe a little tummy rub, some treats, anything he loves! and if sometimes, he has an accident, then scold him, spray him in the face a couple of times with water, then close him up for 10-15 min. but if you live in an apartment, then you can still do the same thing, just build in a little hook for the bell, and take and SUPERVISE him in the grass while he does his business there. hope this helps! good luck! :-)

First, he should be checked out by a vet to make sure there isn't something medically wrong with him that is causing this behavior. He should, minimally, have a urinalysis to check for a bladder infection or crystals in the urine. If all is ok, it's time to do some serious potty training.
Best housebreaking book ever is Housebreaking: Pure and Simple by Mark and Dru Katz, but here's the gist.
First Diet: Remember, what goes in must come out. The choice of dogfood and treats can definitely have an effect on how often your dog will need to go to the bathroom. Higher quality foods that are easier to digest and have higher concentrations of nutrients produce less waste because you need to feed less and the dog will digest more of it. Too many treats during the day can make your dog have to potty more often. Avoid excessive treats or use the dog's normal food.
Second: Keep control of your dog at all times. Get a crate. It should just be big enough for the dog to lay down, stand up and turn around in. He should be in the crate anytime he isn't being watched (when you are out of the house for even a minute, when you are sleeping, watching tv, cooking, reading, or ANYTHING that involves you taking your eyes off of him). Do not talk to him when he is in the crate or when you first take him out, or that will make him anxious. The crate should never be used for punishment and should always be associated with something good. Don't feed him just before putting him in the crate or allow him to have water while in the crate.
When he is NOT in the crate he should be on a leash attached to you. This way he can never be out of your sight or control to sneak around the corner and have an accident. When you see your puppy getting ready to go in the house, quickly snap the leash to get his attention (not to hurt him or punish him) and say in a calm firm tone "NO!". Then take him right outside to finish up. When he goes outside praise him like crazy and give him a TINY piece of a yummy treat. If you don't have the leash in your hand, you will have to run after the dog to make the correction and this will just teach him to run away from you. If you find an accident in the house, DO NOT punish your dog. It wasn't his fault you haven't taught him to potty outside and it isn't his fault you weren't there to make the correction. Just clean it up and use an enzyme cleaner and odor eliminator to get rid of the smell.
Take the dog out to potty after eating, after drinking a large amount, after waking up from sleeping, and then several times during the day. Wait patiently for him to potty outside THEN praise him and give him lots of love and attention. You want him to do his business as soon as you go out, not try to play and romp for 10 minutes before he does it. Sometimes you just can't wait that long!
Puppy pads and newspaper can be very confusing for dogs. They learn to potty in the house on the paper, then you have to reteach them to potty outside. They can become very anxious and frustrated using this method. Start by teaching him to eliminate only outside and you will have fewer setbacks.

I examine each and every of the responses from previous canines fanatics available, and that all of them are merely right in my eyes. I even have 4 canines, and that i remember quite nicely whilst they have been domestic canines. With the crying, merely neglect approximately them, what i do is oftentimes save the television on low so as that they think of i'm interior the lounge, listening to voices soothes them. comparable component with the radio too. I used to have my canines sleep with me yet they do want to sleep quite on the component of the physique so style of stressful once you have a queen length mattress and you're married! So I actually have a number of my canines sleep with me, and a few do not, they get use to it. With the potty instruction component, fairly i understand this could be hard, yet its the sole thank you to do it. whilst instruction my canines, i took them exterior consistently to enable them to understand that potty is exterior not interior. interior the midst of the night, we'd upward thrust up around 3ish and take canines out so as that they'd do there bussiness available. At night around 8ish take there nutrition and water aways so as that they don't would desire to apply the washing room as much as they do for the time of the day. that would desire to help the location slightly, it did for me. i could leave blankets and toys for them to play with at night, yet do not leave nutrition down for them. positioned nutrition lower back off for them around 7 interior the morning, or on each and every occasion your awaken for the time of the day. in case you do not artwork lots, then take them out each and every a million-2 hours until eventually they get use to it, whilst they get use to it, bump the time to 2-3 hours an afternoon for potty time. Time concerns! in case you artwork lots then get slightly crate for the canines to stay in in case you're long gone so as that they gained't poo or pee on your place or the place ever you preserve them. I even have additionally do not this and it fairly works super, Bc the canines won't want to poo or pee interior the area that they are in for some hours in case you're at artwork. whilst they are totally potty experienced you will not would desire to positioned them interior the crate and you will have faith them interior the domicile and enable them to out two times or 3 times an afternoon-approximately each and every 4 hours. actually relies upon how lots the canines eats and sleeps. Oh via the way, if its a domestic dog, i could definatley take the canines out after he sleeps too, bc then oftentimes after the puppy sleeps then he needs to pass potty too.
