There is something very wrong with my brain or something. I don't ever feel like thinking, but I feel like running 7 miles most of the time. I have ADHD, but this seems like a different cognitive problem. I feel like I just keep getting stupider and stupider every day. I don't even understand things I used to easily figure out.

Do you realize that just writing your thoughts to us - shows that you are thinking. And not just thinking, but actually logically trying to work a problem out for yourself.

You do not state how old you are, but it is very normal as we get older not to be able to "think/understand" things as we once did.

Don't belittle yourself. Make sure you are on a diet that is good for you. Consult your physician - there are mental exercises to be done -- good food to eat -- and yes, problems to be solved. And guess what - when you try, you can do it!

Talk to your doctor about getting on meds or swiching your meds if you are on some. You just need to find the right medication. Good luck.

Check with your GP and maybe they can refer you to a Psychologist if needed. Best of luck!
