Take a different one with different clothes and a different pose......maybe that might work.

I think that maybe you should put up a picture of yourself that looks more "regular" to quote my ten year old daughter. The reason that people don't believe that this is your picture is exactly why you said.
A bunch of dorks put up model pictures because they are too insecure to put their own up.
My advice is, have a friend take a pic of you after mowing the grass or some other menial task where you're destined to be hot & sweaty and look like crap. If you truly are handsome, it will shine through regardless.

To prove that that's you, take a picture in poorer quality. Don't be perfect with it. Just go into your room, use the regular lights instead of professional lights/flashes(thus, having a dimmer picture) and take it like a regular person. That should create a believable picture.

i think it's just because a lot of internauts take star or model pictures
change your picture, put some thing else
you know you don't have to prove anything, if people want to see you then they can go on your 360!

Er ... I don't mean to be 'flirty' but I think people think you're a bit too ... good looking to be , well ... hanging 'out here' ... that answers your first question .
Other people put pictures of models on their profiles because they are very insecure people .
Coming to your third question ... I don't think you HAVE to prove your self . Just sit back and chill .

people don't believe because alot of people are not that honest with who they are online. Girls would be thinking, hmmm, putting a sexy picture so he could get girls to contact him. See, others put fake pics for that reason or just to have fun. Don't take it seriously. We're only human

You don't need to prove anything to any one! Maybe,they don't believe you because your so HOT!!!!!!! But anyway who cares if they don't believe you, You are who you are and that's all that matters.And who you are inside matters even more!
