Morningstar:
It is because they are desperate!
They have looked every where and they cannot make sense of their lives.
They are in need of the love of God!
And the said "religious" people are the ones to blame!
I really like when they come here questioning. They are looking, even if they deny, for a glimpse of something, anything divine!
So, if you really know God, the God of Love, answer them because God wants them to know Him.
God, the God of Love, will never, never get these persons because of their attitudes. He loves them! Jesus died in the cross for them! He said that the healthy people do not need a doctor but the sick people do.
Remember, surely you also needed a doctor too one day. I did very badly. May be you were never sick as this. But you met LOVE!
Don´t you worry! GOD cannot be offended by any offense. If He, that is the aim of all this, does not get hurt, why would you?
It is night already here in my country. If it is in yours, just read this before you go to bed: Mathew 5:43 to 48. And the sun will rise tomorrow, for you, for me, for all the earth!

I have read the bible was brought up very religouse but the bible dose not make sence first half or old testement does and can be verified through archioligy places dates and people match with the history of the jewish people and their tribes but the second part dosnt there is no record of a jesus character in any records dating from that period in time and that includes the records of pilot the govenor of jerusalem and Herod and these were the men that were suposed to have tried him. secondly the word jesus is a greek word it means messiah or chosen one It is doughtfull that a young jewish mother would have known how to speak greek in that year 30 bc and as the jewish population of that time were waiting for the chosen one to arrive if a mother named her child the chosen one both she and the baby would have been stoned to death..
people have the right to believe in what ever god they wish that is fine leave them to it and if they dont need to believe in a god that is good too

You can't disgrace a faery tale and a myth. You can mock adults who still believe in faery tales. Since no god exists, no god is going to get anybody. Millions of people around the world think your god is nonsense, or there's a different god altogether, and no boogeyman comes to get them. Have you gotten down on your knees and read a science textbook? We've come a long way since the bronze age and the blood sacrifice superstitions of the Near East.

I agree. Many of these people even say things like "God will get you if you keep up with those kinds of atitudes". What a stupid thing to say about our loving source. Worse yet they can't even spell attitudes correctly.

God is not the judgmental a-- that most of these people make Him out to be. She is our dearest friend and would never consider judging or punishing us for anything.

the bible is the biggest single source for these derogatory lies about God. The answers that quote this biblical nonsense are the ones that disgrace God the most.

I agree and it's so sad. I had no idea how many people were against God and religions until I came onto this site. I live in Arkansas and I'm in the bible belt, I just don't see it that much. And it offends me greatly, but I pray for each and everyone of them..

Well not everyone believes in that crap! I'm christian by paper, but that wasn't my choice! My parents decided that! God has done nothing for me, so why should i believe in something that's not there? I'm happy with what i believe in now, like things i can see! It's called reality! But that doesn't mean I'm a bad person! I just think religion is crap!

I agree. As a Christian I enjoy the dialog between believers and unbelievers, but the name calling and nasty assumptions about either side get very old.

Because they are lost souls & all we can do is constantly keep all non-belivers in our prayers.
But we also need to not be judgemental towards them or anyone but love them all & be kind to all no matter how they believe.Only God is our judge, weather they believe it or not, they will one day, but it may be too late.
