It will pinch and that is all. Don't worry so much about it or you will make things worse with a higher blood pressure and things.
Relax your muscles or it will hurt and be sore more. It won't kill you so don't worry.

I got a blood test by a military doctor vs a civilian and it didnt hurt at all. I think it has to do with how skilled the doctor is honestly and maybe the needle size, try asking for a smaller needle or a more skilled doctor. Also everyone in the comment section other then me is a complete morons for believing they can dictate you into feeling the same as they do about it by simply telling you that you are wrong. What a bunch of idiots. We cant expect everyone to have a brain though its not a common trait, and its clear most of the comment section lacks one. I read on forums that if you get a doctor who specilizes in blood work that it doesnt cuase pain, but I only had one test that didnt make me want to squirm. Hope this helps.

No pain at all, just a little pinch, and done. Most people get scared "before" getting it done; all in their mind, when the reality is a completely different story. Now, do Not get anxious, nervous or anything like that. Nothing to it, so forget those thoughts, and start thinking about something Positive and good. A book, the tv, or music will help. You'll be just fine, cool?

First of all, the nurse or doctor will wrap a band around your arm to trap the blood and ask you to consequetively open and close your hand. Gradually, your veins should begin to bulge out and the nurse will choose whichever vein seems the best to extract blood from. If none of your veins bulge out, or they don't bulge out enough for the nurse to be able to take blood from them, she will repeat the same process with your other arm. And hopefully she will be able to use the vein on that arm. Next, she will inject a needle with flaps on either side, which will feel like a slight pinch, and then she will slowly suck out some of your blood. And before you know it, it will be over!
Be brave and don't worry! Everything will be just fine.

Trust me, i was freaking out about my blood test. I was kind of crying because i am very sensitive. When you go into the room they will tap on your vain with their finger so it will pop up more. I know it sounds gross. Then they well dab your arm with like water or soap to clean it. Now here it comes, they will take the needle and put it in, if you re sensitive like me, do not look because it looks disturbing and weird. Trust me it does not hurt that bad. It will hurt for like a second and then its over. You ll be fine

When you go in, let the technician know that you are apprehensive, she will go easy on you.
Try to look away when they are drawing the blood, and start a short conversation with the tech, No, it doesn't really hurt, stay relaxed, and follow their instructions about making a fist..etc.
You will do alright. They will even provide you with some orange juice IF you get a little dizzy. Stay focused.
It only takes less than one minute depending on what kind of blood test.
Be Brave..You can do it.

You are having a blood test to find out something about your body and this may or may not help with some problems you may be having. So a little tiny pain should not worry you.
It depends on who is doing the blood test, how clear your veins are etc.
I don't think there is much pain involved, just like a pin prick if the right person does it.
You'll be alright.
