Everyone keeps refeering to Dog as a hero for capturing Andrew Luster but what everyone doesn`t seem to understand is that there was a personal gain for Dog .Andrew Luster was out on bail for $1 million Dog would have gotten a large percentage of that bail amount which would have totaled $250,000.But due to the fact he captured Luster illegally he was told he was not intitled to the money. He tried to fight that decision in a California court but the judge ruled that he was not given authority to go to Mexico and capture Andrew Luster therefore he was not intitled to any of the money.Who the judge did rule on to get a portion of that money was the women that Luster raped. Now I`m not saying that Dog was wrong for expecting his percentage for capturing Luster after all he is a bounty hunter and thats what they do.But for him to be considered a hero for this is wrong hero`s do not do things for a personal gain and even though he didn`t get the money that was his intentions.

I know that he made the big arrest of Andrew Luster, but it seems now he goes after small-time crooks. He busts people with FTA warrants and misdemeanor charges. I am not minimizing drug charges (especially methamphetamines, which is a huge problem) but Dog and his crew don't bust people that most others would consider extremely dangerous. Especially now that the show is popular, they seem to just enjoy the celebrity and the money made from TV rather than doing their job.

Keep in mind that he spent his OWN MONEY paying for airline tickets, phone calls, and other costs related to the capture. It isn't a bad thing to try to recoup on the expenses that he spent especially considering he caught Luster, and that he used time and resources that could have been put towards his own business. While you do have a point to a certain extent as far as labeling him a hero, it is unfair to state that money was the reason he became involved in the capture of Andrew Luster.

Yes he should be considered a hero. He doesn't deserve jail time. If we are going to throw him in jail then you had better start rounding up the illegal aliens from Mexico who broke our immigration laws and send them back to Mexican jails too.

You don't know for sure he did it only for the money. He may very well have just went after him because he didn't like what the guy did and then after capturing him decided he should get paid for doing so since its his job. All I am saying is you really don't know what he was thinking. You can come up with any number of scenarios.

I believe you. he isn't a hero. he's purely making a residing and bounty searching is what he does. I do think of inspite of the incontrovertible fact that he did carry Luster in, despite if it replaced into criminal or no longer, he did carry him in, he could desire to get thr reward. it extremely isn't any longer as much as u . s . a . of america to confirm that. The U.S. needed Luster and canines have been given him. He extremely isn't any hero inspite of the incontrovertible fact that.

Good point. Bounty hunters do not have to be licensed, except for a firearm, they have no rules to follow like private investigators and police...They all say, "Show me the money." That's how they get paid, even if they don't sit behind a desk and get paid holidays.

Anyone that took a rapist off the streets, should be hearlded for this. The BIGGER question would be... why the US government allowed one of their citizens...to be brought to MEXICAN justice...

Mexican justice...is there such a thing? The federali's are all on the take, (in Mexico) yet OUR feds arrested dog and turned him over to a snake pit...perhaps our's are on "the take" as well

WHATTA GOVERNMENT...eh?
