Lets say i purchased a ******** made of ivory and i didnt know it was going to be a very tight fit. Once erect, i would not be able to take it off no matter what i did, the only way would be to use a small surgical drill. If i left the ******** on and my penis turned very red, would there be a possibility that it would have to be amputated? This example could also work with a very tight bandage around a finger with no injury.

YOU'LL CUT OFF THE BLOOD TO YOUR TOOL, THEN IF IT DOESN'T REPLINISH THE O2 IT WILL DIE....TRY GREASE OR SOME KIND OF LUBE TO GET IT OFF

I think you're in for a very embarassing trip to the doctor.
Have you tried greasing it up with something that's not water-soluble and dipping it in icewater?
If you got it off, and your weiner feels OK, you don't have to worry about it. But if the color is wierd and it hurts, then you have to worry.
Don't wait too long because, even if you get the thing off and don't end up having it amputated you're still at risk of never being able to get it up again. We had a kid come in one time who had a priapism ("an erection lasting for more than 4 hours"). He waited way too long. The doctor got it drained but he never was able to get it up again, and he was only 18.
Good luck.

As a physician let me say the following,
Amputation is only done if loss of the appendage is more beneficial than to continue having it attached. If it's black, dead, gangrenous, and the source of an ongoing infection, amputation will have to be performed in order to prevent sepsis (aka blood poisoning) which can be fatal.
In plain English, if you start losing feeling in your tool and it starts turning purple, the tissue is starting to die due to lack of oxygen. And then it progresses to gangrene, infection, sepsis, etc and you'll be beggin for it to be removed.

First you would have to know how to use it to lose it! LoL.... Seriously yes it some cases anything that cuts any sort of circulation off can run the risk of losing any sort of limb

Any limb or appendage that is deprived of blood and oxygen will die. You have to be very careful! You need to get that thing off...use oil or something and shimmy it off. Once off, don't use it anymore.

Yes, you can block the blood supply and the limb dies, then it has to be amputated

Yes; there have been medically documented cases of that.
You are better off not messing with your d*ck, especially if you'd like to keep it.

I think they would cut off the ******** first. But why would you want to cut off the circulation like that? Why risk it?
