Well the problem I think is in the belief in the concept of "soulmates" or my interpretation of that belief, that there is only one person that you you are somehow destined to be with and you will be a perfect match.
Truth be told there are "Many" people that you can form a bond with, with some that bond might could last a lifetime and with others it might be at a certain time in their lives since we know people change.
It is interesting to me because I wonder why the idea of "Soulmates" is so attractive to people. I mean if someone told me that there was only one person in the whole world that was destined to truly connect with me, I'd be worried and think that was a bad thing rather than a good thing!

My heart has been broken plenty. Im 35 yrs old. none of them were my soulmate and i knew that. So i finally gave up and swore i would stay single for a looooong time. I finally met my soulmate 2 yrs ago when i was least expecting it. Actually i met him online and we been living together ever since we met....This is the happiest i ever been in my life.Im glad i found him,,he is my everything. I think we only have one soul mate and thats the one that we would be happy with for the rest of our lives. I hope you found yours,,,if not good luck in finding him.

Soul mates don't exist to me. You find someone that you are compatible with and someone who is loving...but I don't believe you are only meant for one single person your whole life. Things happen that are beyond your control. Maybe your spouse dies. Is it not foreseeable that you will find another love?
I have had my heart broken one time.

I keep trying to be positive about finding that "special someone", that "soulmate", someone to love....but each time I get beatten down. My heart has been broken more times than I'd like to have experienced, including at the moment.

to tell u the the truthi have never been heart broken...i wouldn't kn0w how it feels cuz' this is my 1st serious relationship that i have....and if u ask me about the soulmate...i think that there can b only 1 in your life...u just have 2 wait and see when he/she is going to approach u.....if he/she doesn't then i think u should make the first move and let that person knows how u feel about them....this is my opinion

heart broken many times. I think there are multiple potential soulmates for everyone. I have no doubt one of my ex-girlfriends could have been one but things just didn't work out. My wife is mine now.
