What is a good auto loan place online that accepts bad credit? My score is only 408 due to my divorce.

Rebuild your credit as soon as possible. Meanwhile, check with a local credit union and take a co-signer with you. You might be able to get a car loan that way.

I am an Automotive Finance Manager. With a score of 408 your options are limited. Find dealership in your area that uses Credit Acceptance. They will report your good payments to all 3 credit bureaus and will finance you. Be prepared to pay 15 to 20% down on a car, keep it for 18 months and trade it in. With a score of 408 you cannot be to picky on the vehicle unless you have 6 or 7 grand down. Good luck!

I don't want you to take this personally, but if you really do have a 408 credit score when the absolute minimum FICO score is 300, I would suggest PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

Any loan you would get with a 408 FICO score would just be burying you further in the abyss of financial ruin. The interest rate on the auto loan would be seemingly usurious.

Sorry, but you need to hear the truth and not silky words!

Try car-mart or a local dealership. You probably won't be able to get a brand new vehicle anywhere.

But be careful and read all the fine print. See if you could buy a used car from someone else and make payments to them.
